Premium terms

The plans for sale and their prices are shown in the app, on the Premium screen, before you pay. Prices are in US dollars and include tax.

• No ads while you're signed in.
• Your plan on My Account, shown only to you.
• Everything else in AniMelo stays the same and free for everyone.

Premium belongs to your AniMelo account, so it works on every phone you sign in on. You need an account to buy it.

Payments are made and processed by PayPal. You pay with your PayPal balance or a card or bank account you add in PayPal; we never see your card or bank details. PayPal's own terms apply to the payment, and PayPal sends you a receipt.

• Monthly, 3-month and yearly plans renew by themselves. PayPal charges the plan's price at the start of each new period until you cancel.
• No trial: the first payment is taken when you subscribe, and the next one when the period you paid for ends.
• Price changes: if the price of your plan changes, PayPal tells you before the new price is charged.
• Changing plan: you approve the new plan in PayPal. It starts with your next payment; until then, your current plan stays as it is.

Cancel anytime. Either way works:

1. In the app: open AniMelo, go to Account, then Premium, and tap Cancel plan.
2. In PayPal: open PayPal's settings, go to Payments, then Manage automatic payments, choose AniMelo and cancel it.

Nothing more is charged after you cancel. Premium stays on until the end of the time you already paid for, then stops. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your plan.

If PayPal can't take a renewal, PayPal tries again. Premium stays on for up to 2 days after the missed date. If the payment still hasn't gone through by then, Premium stops, and comes back as soon as a payment goes through. Check your payment method in PayPal to keep it.

• One payment, no renewals. Premium stays on your account for as long as AniMelo runs.
• Buying lifetime while a plan renews cancels that plan, so it isn't charged again. The time left on it isn't refunded.

If something went wrong with a payment, write to [email protected] from the email of your AniMelo account and tell us what happened. We look at every request.

• Refunds go back through PayPal to the way you paid.
• A refunded payment ends Premium at once, and a plan that renews is cancelled with it. The same happens when a payment is taken back through PayPal or your bank.
• Cancelling doesn't refund the time already paid for; Premium simply stays on until it ends.
• You can also contact PayPal about a payment; their buyer protection rules apply.

Deleting your AniMelo account cancels a plan that renews, so you aren't charged again. Premium ends with the account, and the time left on it isn't refunded. How to delete your account.

If these terms change, we update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. A change never affects a payment you already made.
